We specialize in motorized window treatments, draperies, custom shutters, shades, blinds, motorized patio screens, skylights and much more. With exceeding customers’ expectations as our focus, we are there from the beginning, from job site consulting, measuring & coordination with other trades, straight through to a white glove installation.
It all starts with a conversation so that we can get an in-depth understanding of what your needs are and what you are hoping to achieve. From the city to the shore, we offer our services throughout New Jersey and the New York metro area, including Long Island and the Hamptons. If the scope of the job requires our expertise, and you are outside our area, we are happy to arrange a way to accommodate you. We have accommodated many projects in Amenia and further upstate NY, Connecticut, and Eastern PA from Philadelphia to the Lehigh Valley.
We also work in Florida and the Caribbean to facilitate servicing clients’ vacation homes. Whether your project is straightforward or complex CMI has creative solutions for your unique views.

We are New Jersey and New York’s source for designer window fashions, outdoor shading solutions & lighting control with decades of experience.
After years of experience in the industry from textile sales to manufacturing, CMI was founded in 1993 by Gary Reinhardt, as a premiere wholesale source for custom motorized and manual window fashions, proudly serving the design/build community.
Jessica Reinhardt joined the CMI team in 1999 making this a family venture. In 2019 Jes assumed ownership of CMI leading us into our second generation. In 2023 we became a certified women owned business.
We have a dedicated customer relations team and in-house professional, properly insured installation crew with years of training and experience to help bring your window treatment and lighting control projects from vision to reality.
